Michael Olise ‘fathered 20‐month‐old daughter’ as legal dispute emerges over child support

Bayern Munich’s France international Michael Olise is facing a public paternity and child-support row after a German-Moroccan woman claimed he is the father of her 20‐month‐old daughter – allegations confirmed by a DNA test, according to German tabloid Bild.

The case, which centres on claims that Olise has not seen the child and has failed to pay agreed maintenance, surfaces at a pivotal moment in the 24‐year‐old’s career, amid reported interest from Real Madrid following his standout performances at the 2026 World Cup.

Woman says DNA test proves Olise is the father

Bild’s front page carried the testimony of 34‐year‐old Fatima Zunbrecher, who lives in Dusseldorf. She says she had a relationship with Olise for two years while he was playing for Premier League side Crystal Palace.

According to Zunbrecher, the pair began dating four years ago and split up shortly before she discovered she was pregnant.

A subsequent paternity test conducted in Munich, she told the paper, established that Olise is the biological father of her daughter, named Alia Noor, who is now 20 months old.

Zunbrecher alleges that since the DNA result, the Bayern midfielder has refused to meet the child and has not provided regular financial support.

‘It hurts me to see his cruelty’

Speaking to Bild, Zunbrecher criticised what she described as Olise’s lack of personal engagement and the conduct of his legal representatives.

“It hurts me to see his cruelty towards his child, as he does not speak directly to me but sends his lawyers, who advised him not to see the child, and one of them even suggested that I buy second-hand clothes for her,” she was quoted as saying.

She claims Olise’s lawyers initially proposed child support of €836 a month, before raising the offer to €2,000. However, she told the newspaper that no money had actually been paid over the past two years.

Olise legal team rejects accusations

Olise’s legal team has strongly denied the suggestion that the player is evading his responsibilities, insisting he has sought to help from the outset and remains open to a negotiated settlement.

According to their account, Zunbrecher filed a case in the French courts asking for €60,000 per month in maintenance, a figure the lawyers say was rejected.

They say Olise has instead offered an amount which exceeds the legal maximum allowed under German law for such cases.

The lawyers also dispute the characterisation of Olise as unwilling to engage, arguing that discussions have been ongoing through proper legal channels and that the player is keen to resolve the situation amicably.

Spotlight on private life as transfer talk intensifies

The public disclosure of the dispute comes at a delicate juncture for Olise, an attacking midfielder whose reputation on the pitch has risen sharply.

The France international registered the most assists at the 2026 World Cup, enhancing his status as one of Europe’s most creative talents and putting him firmly on the radar of leading clubs.

Reports in Spain and Germany have linked Real Madrid with a move for Olise, potentially to join his friend Kylian Mbappe in the Spanish capital.

The timing of the revelations about his private life is likely to be unwelcome for a player known for guarding his privacy, and could complicate both his public image and any forthcoming negotiations over a high-profile transfer.
