Muhammed Tijani scores in Banik Ostrava big win over Brno

Former Nigeria U20 star, Muhammed Tijani was on target for Banik Ostrava in their 4-0 victory against Brno.

Tijani scored Banik Ostrava second goal in the convincing victory over Brno at the 15,123 Mestsky Stadion, Ostrava.

Cadu opened the scoring as early as 10 minutes through a header off a cross delivered by Jan Juroska before TIjani doubled the advantage through an header in the 32nd minute.

13 minutes from half time, Srdan Plavsic increased the lead to three before Jan Juroska notched the fourth goal in the 62nd minute to wrap up the rout.

Tijani was in action for 55 minutes before he was substituted to pave way for Almasi.

In the relegation playoff opener, Banik Ostrava get of to a winning start and go top of the log in the Czech Fortuna Lig with 38 points in 31 games and will visit 11th placed Jablonec in their next game on 14 May.
