Mutiu Adepoju eyes Super Eagles coaching role

Former Nigeria international, Mutiu Adepoju, has expressed his interest in becoming the head coach of the Nigeria national team, following the resignation of Finidi George.
Adepoju believes he possesses the necessary qualities and experience to handle the Super Eagles if given the opportunity.
With a UEFA Pro license and previous coaching experience with Shooting Stars, Adepoju is confident in his abilities to lead the team.
“We had several players in the Castilla team who are brilliant coaches today, and we didn’t see it at the time,” Adepoju stated during an appearance on the Managing Madrid Podcast.
“I have a UEFA Pro license myself, so if there’s an opportunity, I wouldn’t mind. I’m open to the opportunity. I once coached Shooting Stars in Nigeria but I haven’t coached since then,” he added.
As the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) searches for a new coach, Adepoju’s experience and credentials make him a notable candidate for the vacant position.
