Ndidi Shines, Iheanacho Benched: Leicester Secures Victory; Liverpool, Stoke, Everton Triumphant

Leicester City claimed a 1-0 victory over Burnley at the King Power Stadium, with Nigeria’s midfielder Wilfred Ndidi playing a pivotal role in the triumph. Demarai Gray netted the lone goal in the sixth minute, securing the Foxes’ fifth win of the campaign. Ndidi, making his 32nd English Premier League start for the club since joining in January from Genk, demonstrated his prowess on the pitch.
Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho, however, remained an unused substitute, continuing his quest for consistent playing time. Ahmed Musa was not part of the matchday squad.
Meanwhile, Liverpool dominated Brighton 5-1 at the Amex Stadium. Emre Can and Roberto Firmino scored within 79 seconds, giving Liverpool a 2-0 halftime lead. At Goodison Park, Everton, under new manager Sam Allardyce, secured a 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town. Gylfi Sigurdsson and Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored in the second half.
Watford played out a 1-1 draw against 10-man Tottenham Hotspur at Vicarage Road. Christian Kabasele scored for Watford, while Heung-Min Son equalized for Tottenham.
At the Hawthorns, Alan Pardew’s tenure as West Brom manager commenced with a goalless draw against his former team, Crystal Palace.
