Nigeria attacking midfielder Michael Aduragbemi Oluwayemi joins FBK Karlstad on loan
Nigeria attacking midfielder Michael Aduragbemi Oluwayemi has joined Swedish club FBK Karlstad from Ostersund on loan.
The 20-year-old, who plays in the attacking midfield position and is right-footed, switches from Superettan side Ostersund to FBK Karlstad, who compete in Ettan Norra. The move was completed on 5 August 2026.
Oluwayemi had made five appearances for Ostersund in the 2026 Superettan campaign before leaving the club. He played 51 minutes in total, with all five appearances coming from the bench, and did not record a goal or an assist.
The Nigerian joined Ostersund from Tiki Taka on 14 February 2024. His time with Ostersund preceded the temporary move to FBK Karlstad, giving him the opportunity to continue his senior career at a club competing in Sweden’s third tier.
Born on 10 October 2005, Oluwayemi stands 1.77m tall. His move comes with a listed market value of €150,000, although no transfer fee has been recorded for the loan.
FBK Karlstad are his third senior club after Tiki Taka and Ostersund. His arrival follows a campaign in which he featured five times for Ostersund but did not start a match, accounting for three per cent of the team’s available minutes in the Superettan.
The transfer also represents a change in competition for Oluwayemi, who moves from Sweden’s second tier to Ettan Norra. FBK Karlstad will have him available on loan until 30 November 2026, when he is scheduled to return to Ostersund.
