Nigeria-eligible Rinsola Babajide wins pre-season title with UDG Tenerife

Nigeria-eligible forward, Rinsola Babajide has won another pre-season title with her new Spanish Liga F side, UDG Tenerife on Saturday.
Jose Herrera’s side won the women’s Teide Trophy with a 1-0 win against Athletic Club thanks to a great goal in the second half by Elena Guerra.
UDG Tenerife missed the services of some key players for their third pre-season game including Pisco, María José, María Estella, Thaís Ferreira, Agustina Barroso, Yerliane Moreno, Gisela Robledo, and Aleksandra Zaremba.

The last preseason game for the team with three Nigerian players will be in La Palma, in a match that will be played in the municipality of Los Llanos de Aridane against Sporting Club de Huelva on September 2.
The duo of Monday Gift and Esther Okoronkwo are expected to have rested enough from the World Cup to take part in some of the above-listed pre-season games.
