Nigeria received a bye into the second qualifying round, while Comoros reached this stage after beating Sudan 30–0 on aggregate in the first round.

The Super Falcons must negotiate four rounds of two-legged knockout ties to claim one of Africa’s two places at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. If Nigeria defeat Comoros on aggregate, they will advance to the third round, which is scheduled for February 2027.
