Nigeria National League confirms new venue for Annual General Assembly

The Nigeria National League (NNL) has chosen a new city to host the 2023 Annual General Assembly (AGA) meeting.
Abuja was initially chosen to be the venue of the AGA on September 7th but it has now been moved to Jos.
The Plateau State governor Caleb Mutfwang has given the green light for Jos to host the 14th NNL AGA on Friday September 29 2023.
The AGA will decide when the second tier of Nigeria football will commence.
The representatives of the 40 clubs that will be participating in the 2023/2024 NNL season will attend the AGA with the arrival date scheduled for Thursday September 28.
Sporting Lagos, Kano Pillars, Heartland and Katsina United all got promotion to the elite Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) when the deciding NNL promotional playoffs was done in Asaba.
While Nasarawa United, El-Kanemi Warriors, Dakkada and Wikki Tourists were relegated to the NNL from the NPFL.
