Nigeria international, Wilfred Ndidi has labelled former Chelsea star, Eden Hazard as the toughest opponent he faced in the English Premier League.
The Leicester City defensive midfield stalwart singled out Hazard for his strong and sharp skills which makes him challenging to mark.
The 27 year old Super Eagles holding midfielder believes the retired Belgian is a phenomenon on the ball and the ability to change direction makes him an elusive nature on the pitch.
“Eden Hazard. He’s so good. He was so strong and he was so sharp,” Ndidi was quoted by Premier League.
“When you’re getting close to him, he can just change direction. He’s so sharp, before you realize, he’s gone.”
Hazard retired from professional football after an unsuccessful spell with Real Madrid which was plagued by injuries.
