Nigeria striker Anuoluwapo Salisu reacts on UEFA Women’s Champions League debut

Nigeria star, Anuoluwapo Salisu has reacted over making her debut in the UEFA Champions League for BIIK Kazygurt.
Despite the Kazakhstan side lost 1-0 to SFK Riga, the former Bayelsa Queens midfielder was over the moon over her debut for Kazygurt and described the moment as a dream come true for her.
The Dreamstars Ladies product said the team will bounce back from their defeat and make a statement in their next encounter against Cliftonville Ladies.
“I am extremely delighted to make my Champions League debut,” Salisu was quoted by Sportivation.
“It has always been my dream to play in Europe’s top competition and to represent BIIK Kazygurt in the qualifiers means a lot to me and my family at home.
“It is not the result we wanted but we will continue to work hard to qualify for the Champions League, we have a chance on Saturday to show the world what we are capable doing. We are ready to bounce back.”
Salisu has hit top form since her move to Kazakhstan during the summer transfer window as she has scored a goal and contributed eight assists in all competitions.
