Nigeria W 3–1 Ghana W: Super Falcons End WAFCON Preparations with Victory

Nigeria’s Super Falcons wrapped up their final warm-up for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) with a 3-1 victory over rivals Ghana on Sunday.

  • Chinwendu Ihezuo (34′) opened the scoring.
  • Asisat Oshoala (44′) converted from the penalty spot.
  • Rasheedat Ajibade (50′) added a third goal early in the second half.
  • Alice Kussi (88′) pulled one back late for Ghana.

Under coach Justine Madugu, the Falcons showed strong form heading into the tournament in Morocco.
