Nigeria winger Nentaka Bangs has joined Slovan Galanta from AS Trencin on loan, switching Slovakia’s Nike Liga for the II. Liga club.
The move was completed on 14 August 2026, with the 20-year-old left winger signing a deal that runs until 30 June 2027. Bangs will return to AS Trencin when the loan ends, according to the agreed transfer timeline.
Bangs arrives at Slovan Galanta after spending the first part of the 2026-27 season with AS Trencin. He had not made an appearance in the Nike Liga before making the switch, with the transfer coming after two possible league matches.
The Nigerian joined AS Trencin on 1 January 2026 from Wikki Tourists. His move to the Slovak club followed an earlier spell with the Nigerian side, which he had joined from Nasarawa United on a free transfer in August 2023.
At Slovan Galanta, Bangs will continue as a left-sided attacking player. He is listed at 1.70m and was born on 4 April 2006. His arrival gives the club a Nigeria international-born attacking option for the 2026-27 campaign, although no senior international record is attached to the transfer.
Bangs’ career so far has included moves between Nigeria and Slovakia, with the loan to Slovan Galanta marking his latest change of club. The transfer also represents a move between the country’s two named league competitions, from AS Trencin’s Nike Liga setting to Slovan Galanta’s II. Liga programme.
His current market value is listed at €25,000, while his new club contract is scheduled to expire at the end of June 2027. No appearances, goals or assists are recorded for him in the Nike Liga during the current campaign before the move.
Bangs has therefore taken up a new challenge with Slovan Galanta for the remainder of the 2026-27 season, joining the club on loan from AS Trencin until 30 June 2027.
