Nigerian-German striker Adozi Justin seals Borussia Mönchengladbach move

By Dayo Awoniyi

Nigeria-eligible Adozi Justin Chukwudi has taken a major leap in his football journey after signing for Bundesliga giants Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The 20-year-old striker, born to a German mother and a Nigerian father from the Adozi family in Oligie-Igbanke, Orhionmwon LGA of Edo State, is regarded as one of the brightest young forwards in German football.

Justin lit up the Oberliga Westfalen last season with Sportfreunde Siegen, where his prolific scoring and consistent displays helped the club secure promotion to the Regionalliga West.

A natural No. 9, he has earned praise for his sharp finishing, intelligent movement, and imposing physical presence. His performances caught the attention of Mönchengladbach scouts, who monitored him closely before sealing the deal.

The forward will link up with Gladbach’s B team for the coming season, with the move seen as a platform to stake a claim for first-team football in the near future.

Renowned for nurturing young prospects, Borussia Mönchengladbach provides an ideal stage for Justin, whose Nigerian-German heritage adds to the growing list of dual-national talents making waves in Europe.

He is now widely tipped as one of the young strikers to watch, as he embarks on this exciting new chapter with the Foals.
