Nigeria’s Solomon Agbalaka and Augustine Njoku make U20 AFCON best XI

The duo of Solomon Agbalaka and Augustine Njoku of Nigeria U20 national team have been selected in CAF’s Best XI of the U20 African Cup of Nations, AFCON held in Egypt.
Left back Agbalaka from Broad City of Lagos won two Man of the Match awards at the tournament, while right back Njoku who plays for Abia Warriors lost his starting place in the semifinals.
Eventual champions Senegal expectedly produced four players for the team of the tournament alongside their head coach, Malick Daf.
Nigeria thrashed Tunisia 4-0 to win the third paced match while Senegal defeated The Gambia 2-0 on Saturday to win the competition in Egypt.
