Sporting Supreme FC General Manager, Shuaibu Yakubu has earmarked gaining promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) is the priority of his side.
The Abuja based side will be competing in the NNL Super Eight in Enugu as they fight for promotion to the elite Nigeria topflight league.
Yakubu is confident Sporting Supreme is in top gear as they battle for the promotion slot in the Super Eight.
The club administrator said their target hasn’t changed while he calls on fans to cheer them to victory in Enugu.
“We are in good shape and the boys are ready. We have already achieved our first goal by qualifying for the play-offs. Now, our main target is to win promotion to the NPFL,” Yakubu told the Press.
“Our aim as a team is to win promotion to the NPFL, and that mandate hasn’t changed.
“This is our opportunity to restore the capital city to the elite football division, and we are calling on our fans and supporters to back us from start to finish.”
The Abuja based side will open their campaign in the NNL Super Eight against Sokoto United on Saturday.
