No case to answer! Victor Osimhen escapes fine for misconduct against Bologna

Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has reportedly escaped punishment in the form of a fine for his reaction to being substituted out in Napoli’s draw against Bologna.
The Napoli striker was caught in a hited argument with Rudi Garcia who replaced Scudetto-winning Luciano Spaletti.
The 24-year-old striker looked unhappy when subbed off in the 87th minute despite missing from the spot 15 minutes earlier.
He gestured a two-finger and was furious in his disagreement as he believed the coach should’ve kept him on and should’ve played two upfront as the Partenopei strived for goals.
The team was considering punishing him for misconduct but he has since apologized, and the club seemingly chose not to take disciplinary action.
The Nigerian reportedly made it clear to the Napoli squad in the dressing room that he didn’t mean to disrespect Garcia and the manager was present during the meeting.
He stated that he was desperate to win the game and wanted to make sure that he redeemed himself after missing a penalty.
The Super Eagles star has been without the shooting boots that earned him the Cappocannoniere last season, failing to find the back of the net in his last four tries for the Serie A champions.
