Technical of Wikki Tourists, Abdu Maikaba has expressed satisfaction with his team’s victory over Enyimba.
The Bauchi Elephants defeated their hosts 1-0 at the Enyimba International Stadium , Aba on Sunday in the Matchday 13 of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL fixture.
Abubakar Aliyu grabbed the winning goal for Wikki Tourists in the game.
Maikaba praised his players for their resilience throughout the encounter.
“I told my boys that getting a point here is possible, and it has happened. I’m happy,” Maikaba told Wikki Tourists media.
“It’s what we’ve been working towards to achieve, we deserve this victory as you can see we dominated for a long time and I will want us to maintain the spirit.”
Wikki Tourists moved to seventh position on the league table following the win.
They will be up against Bayelsa United in their next game in Bauchi.
