NPFL: Doma United’s victory over Lobi Stars delights Kingdom Osayi

Doma United goalkeeper, Kingdom Osayi, is overjoyed after playing a pivotal role in his team’s victory over Lobi Stars in their Matchday 34 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) encounter on Saturday.

The Savannah Tigers secured a narrow 1-0 win against the Yes Father Boys, courtesy of Usman Musa’s decisive goal in the second half. This result not only marked the team’s first win since the second stanza of the league started but also saw Osayi achieve his 15th clean sheet of the season.

Osayi praised his teammates for their determination and resilience, which were crucial in securing the much-needed victory.

“An important three points in front of our fans after so much waiting,” Osayi wrote on his X handle.

“This is the first win at home since the restart of the second round. And also adding to my clean sheets, making it 15 in 26 games. Well done lads for giving your all.”

The victory propelled Doma United to 14th position on the NPFL table, with 43 points from 34 games.
