NPFL: Duke Osimaga craves victory for Sunshine Stars against Gombe United

Sunshine Stars’ midfielder, Duke Osimaga, has emphasized the need for his side to secure maximum points in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 34 encounter.

The Owena Whales will face Gombe United at the Pantanmi Stadium on Sunday at 3 PM as Osimaga acknowledged the club’s precarious position in the league and noted that his teammates must work together to achieve victory.

“We will come all out in our match against Gombe United because we need the points,” Osimaga stated to the club media. “We need to get the points because if we don’t win the match, we are going down fully.”

He called on everyone involved with the club to give their best effort. “The management, players, backroom staff, and everybody should bring out their best in this match against Gombe United. It is very important for us.”

Sunshine Stars are currently 16th on the NPFL log with 40 points from 33 games.
