Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Enyimba FC has unveiled Nigeria international Brown Ideye.

The club confirmed the acquisition of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) winner with the Super Eagles on Monday.

“🎯 We are delighted to officially announce the addition of former Super Eagles Striker, Brown Ideye to our fold,” Enyimba FC posted on their social media pages.

“We are expectant of the experience & professionalism he will add to our game/quest in our remaining games this season, especially under the New Gaffer.”

This latest development came after the two-time African champions parted ways with former coach Yemi Olanrewaju and announced Stanley Eguma as his replacement last weekend.

Ideye, who last played for the Kuwait side, Al Yarmouk, will wear jersey number 34 with the People’s Elephant.

He previously played for Bayelsa side, Ocean Boys before moving abroad in 2007.

Abroad he played for the likes of Neuchatel Xamax, Sochaux (France), Dynamo Kyiv (Russia), West Brom (England), Olympiakos (Greece), Tianjin Teda (China), Malaga (Spain), Aris, and Goztepe (Turkey).
