Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) giants Enyimba FC have secured the services of midfielder Ekene Olisema on a free transfer.
The 25-year-old, younger brother of former Enyimba star Cyriel Olisema, has signed a two-year contract with the nine-time league champions.
Olisema joins from Plateau United, where he endured an injury-plagued 2024/25 season, making just three appearances for the Peace Boys.
Despite recent setbacks, the club sees him as a valuable addition to bolster midfield depth ahead of the new campaign.
Over the course of his career, Olisema has featured for several top NPFL clubs including Ikorodu United, Lobi Stars, and Warri Wolves. He also had a stint abroad with Ivorian side AFAD Djèkanou.
His move to Enyimba marks a rare milestone in Nigerian football, as he joins his brother Cyriel on the list of siblings who have played for the same NPFL club.
