NPFL: Kano Pillars embark on a week mid season recess

Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Kano Pillars has embarked on a week break after the conclusion of mid season as far as the 2024/2025 league campaign is concerned.

The club management in a release by the team’s Media and Communication Directorate confirmed that the break began on Monday, December 30, 2024 and will conclude on Monday, January 6, 2025.

Players and officials will resume training immediately after the resumption date on January 6, 2025.

The Sai Masu Gida occupy the eighth position on the log with 25 points from 18 games.

They have an outstanding match against Enyimba FC which will be scheduled for a new date in 2025.

Ahead of that, the Kano based side will open the new year with a clash against El Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri on Matchday 20.

This will be followed by a trip to Lagos to meet Ikorodu City FC.

Kano Pillars club Chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Umar advised players to use the break period to recharge and also celebrate the New year.

He appealed to the players to be a good ambassador of the team.
