Katsina United have re-signed experienced goalkeeper Yusuf Mohammed from Niger Tornadoes ahead of the new Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Mohammed returns for a second stint with the Chanji Boys, having previously played for the club during the 2023–24 campaign.
The former Super Eagles B shot-stopper was instrumental in helping Niger Tornadoes avoid relegation last season, delivering several standout performances.
He featured more regularly than fellow goalkeeper Joshua Enaholo, solidifying his role as the club’s first-choice option.
With the departure of Central African Republic international Alladoum Kolimba, Mohammed is expected to take over the starting role between the posts for Katsina United in the upcoming season.
The 31-year-old brings stability and experience to a squad looking to improve on its mid-table finish from last term.
