NPFL: Niger Tornadoes aim to sustain home run against Akwa United

Niger Tornadoes have intensify efforts to record their second consecutive home victory when they take on Akwa United on Sunday.

The Ikon Allah Boys ended their winless home run in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season with a 2-0 win over Shooting Stars.

They have a chance to make it a back-to-back success with the visit of the Promise Keepers to Bako Kotangora Stadium in Minna.

The club has however expressed their determination and readiness to make it count and consolidate on the last match.

“This Sunday we are up against Akwa United for the second game of our home double-header as we look to consolidate on our victory against 3SC last weekend,” Niger Tornadoes wrote on X.

Niger Tornadoes are unbeaten in their last two games.

Majin Mohammed’s side occupying seventh position on the NPFL table with 14 points.
