Plateau United has strengthened its squad with three new signings ahead of the second half of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The Jos-based club, currently struggling in the 15th position with 23 points from 20 matches, has added Sunday Oche Odeh from Abia Warriors, as well as Emmanuel Ihezuo and Nwadioha Anthony from Nigeria National League (NNL) side, City FC.
The new signings are expected to bolster the squad and improve the team’s performance in the second stanza of the season.
The trio has already begun training with their new teammates, as they prepare for the club’s upcoming fixtures.
Plateau United will next face Katsina United at the Mohammed Dikko Stadium in Katsina on Wednesday, hoping to secure a crucial victory as they aim to climb up the league table.
The team will be hoping that these new additions can make an immediate impact as they look to turn their season around.
Samuel Ahmadu is a distinguished multimedia journalist and women's football expert with over 15 years of experience in the industry.
