Plateau United will be without captain Albert Hilary and midfielder Wisdom Ndom for their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 9 clash against Niger Tornadoes due to injury concerns.
The two key players have had limited involvement so far this season and will not travel with the squad for Sunday’s fixture at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna.
The Jos-based side, currently 15th on the NPFL table with nine points, will be aiming for a crucial away win to boost their standing in the early part of the season.
Technical Adviser Oluwasola Adegun is expected to turn to in-form striker Vincent Temitope and Friday Dashang to lead the line in the absence of his experienced duo.
The match poses a stern test for the “Peace Boys,” as Niger Tornadoes sit in eighth place with 11 points and have shown strong form at home.
With both teams separated by just two points, the outcome could significantly influence momentum heading into the next phase of the campaign.
