Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions Remo Stars have announced the signing of Central African Republic international goalkeeper Kolimba Alladoum from Katsina United.
The club unveiled the experienced shot-stopper on Friday, just ahead of their preseason friendly against Abia Warriors at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
Alladoum, known for his imposing presence and shot-stopping ability, brings several seasons of NPFL experience, having previously starred for Katsina United.
He joins Remo Stars on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with the Chanji Boys at the end of last season.
Speaking during his unveiling, Alladoum expressed his ambition with the Sky Blue Stars.
“I’m here to protect the pride of Remo Stars,” he said.
The 29-year-old is widely expected to step in as the club’s new first-choice goalkeeper following the departure of Kayode Bankole earlier this summer.
Remo Stars, who are gearing up to defend their league title and represent Nigeria on the continental stage, continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
