NPFL: Sporting Lagos snap Edward Green from Akwa United

Newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL side, Sporting Lagos have secured the appointment of young and promising coach, Edward Green from Akwa United.

Green will be the club’s new assistant coach for the new NPFL season. According to the club’s website, the arrival of the talented tactician will add more impetus to the club’s technical qualities.

Coach Green was an integral part of Akwa United team that won the 2020/2021 NPFL season.

Green also guided the Akwa United U-15 side to the knockout stages of various editions of the La Liga Championship.

Sporting Lagos will kick start their new season in the NPFL with a home game against Gombe United when the league get underway.
