Ikorodu City captain Waliu Ojetoye has dedicated the club’s emphatic 6-0 victory over Katsina United to the fans, praising their unwavering support throughout the season.

The Oga Boys delivered a dominant performance in the rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 31 fixture at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, on Thursday.

Ojetoye acknowledged the supporters’ loyalty, especially those who backed the team during their previous outing in Ibadan against Shooting Stars.

“We dedicate this win to our fans who came out to support us against Shooting Stars and also for this game against Katsina United,” he said. “They have been amazing and motivating us. This win is for you all.”

The captain further assured that the squad remains focused and committed. “We are ready and dedicated every week for the team. We won’t let you down,” he added.

Ikorodu City now sit fourth on the NPFL table with 49 points from 32 matches and will look to climb further when they host Niger Tornadoes on Sunday.
