Nigeria striker Wasiu Alalade has ended a two-year stint with Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Kwara United, as he prepares to embark on a new chapter in his career.
Alalade joined the Harmony Boys two seasons ago and quickly became a key player, scoring crucial and match-winning goals for the club.
The lanky forward played a pivotal role in helping his boyhood club clinch the 2025 President Federation Cup, securing qualification for the CAF Confederation Cup.
In an emotional post on his official X account, the former Enyimba FC forward expressed gratitude to the management, coaches, and teammates for their support throughout his time with Kwara United, while signaling readiness to take on fresh challenges.
“It was really an honour to be associated with such a professional club, from the management to the coaching crew, staff, supporters, and fans. Your commitment to excellence and unity has left a lasting impression on me,” Alalade wrote.
The striker is expected to announce his next destination before the transfer window closes.
