OFFICIAL: Al Ittihad Alexandria sign Nigerian forward John Ebuka from Al Masry

By Oluwadamilola Olaleye

Al Ittihad Alexandria Club have officially announced the signing of Nigerian striker John Ebuka from fellow Egyptian Premier League side Al Masry SC.

The 28-year-old joins on a two-year contract, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2027.

Ebuka makes the move after a brief stint at Al Masry, where he scored once in 12 appearances following his transfer from Ceramica Cleopatra in January.

The deal sees the forward reunited with head coach Ahmed Sami, under whom he previously worked at Ceramica Cleopatra. During that period, Ebuka contributed three goals and one assist in 14 league matches.

Al Ittihad view Ebuka’s experience and proven track record in the Egyptian top flight as a key asset in strengthening their attacking options ahead of the new season.

Across his time with ENPPI, Ceramica Cleopatra, and Al Masry, Ebuka has recorded 33 goals and 8 assists in 114 league appearances.

He will join fellow Nigerian striker Isaac Saviour—recently signed from Enugu Rangers—as the club continues to reinforce its frontline.
