OFFICIAL: Ebenezer Akinsanmiro leaves Inter Milan for Pisa on loan

By Oluwadamilola Olaleye

Inter Milan have officially announced the departure of Nigerian midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, who has joined Serie B newcomers Pisa Sporting Club on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old makes the switch to the Tuscan side with an option for Pisa to make the move permanent.

While earlier reports from Tuttosport suggested that Akinsanmiro would first sign a contract extension with Inter through 2029 before heading out on loan, the Nerazzurri have instead secured a buy-back clause as part of the deal, allowing them the option to re-sign the player in the future.

Akinsanmiro spent the 2023–24 season on loan at Sampdoria, where he made 35 appearances, scoring once and providing one assist.

The stint marked a significant period of first-team development for the former Remo Stars player.

The terms of the loan to Pisa indicate a continued commitment to Akinsanmiro’s progression, with the potential for long-term growth either in Tuscany or back at Inter, depending on his performance in the coming season.
