Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions Enugu Rangers have announced the return of former midfielder Chidiebere Nwobodo on a two-year contract.
The club confirmed the signing on Tuesday, marking the return of a key figure from their title-winning 2023/24 campaign. Nwobodo rejoins the Flying Antelopes from Rwandan side APR FC in Kigali.
The 26-year-old previously made 102 NPFL appearances for Rangers, scoring 16 goals before departing for his first stint abroad.
His influence during his earlier tenure was instrumental in Rangers’ domestic success, particularly during their most recent title run.
Rangers head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu is expected to reintegrate the experienced midfielder into a squad aiming to defend their NPFL crown and compete strongly on the continental stage.
