By Wale Mustapha

Shooting Stars have completed the loan signing of prolific striker Sadiq Ibrahim from Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) rivals Sunshine Stars, according to Nigeriafootball.ng.

Ibrahim, known for his physicality and goal-scoring ability, has signed a loan deal that will see him remain at the Oluyole Warriors until the end of the current season.

The move represents a significant step in the striker’s career as he joins a team pushing for continental qualification.

The arrival of the 22-year-old is expected to significantly bolster Shooting Stars’ attacking options. With his proven ability to find the back of the net, Ibrahim’s contribution could prove pivotal in their quest for success in the NPFL.

His loan spell will also offer him the chance to gain valuable experience and further his development in a competitive environment.

Ibrahim has been in strong form this season, scoring two goals during his time with Sunshine Stars, and his addition to Shooting Stars will provide an added dimension to their forward line.

Currently sitting in third place on the NPFL table with 33 points from 19 games, Shooting Stars will be hoping Ibrahim can help them maintain their push for a continental berth.

Gbenga Ogunbote-led side will begin the second half of the season with a crucial fixture against Kwara United in Ilorin.
