OFFICIAL: Victor Osimhen completes €75M permanent transfer to Galatasaray

By Oluwadamilola Olaleye

Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has officially joined Turkish giants Galatasaray S.K. on a permanent basis, bringing an end to months of transfer speculation.

The 26-year-old forward signs a four-year contract following a successful season-long loan spell, during which he played a key role in helping the Istanbul club secure a domestic double and UEFA Champions League qualification.

Osimhen joins from Italian side SSC Napoli in a deal worth €75 million. The agreement also includes a 10% sell-on clause, entitling Napoli to a portion of any future profit made on the striker’s sale.

Under the terms of the new contract, Osimhen will earn a guaranteed net salary of €15 million per season, in addition to a €1 million annual loyalty bonus and €5 million per year in image rights.

Galatasaray welcomed Osimhen in grand style as the club eyes a competitive run on all fronts in the upcoming 2025/26 campaign, with the Nigerian star expected to lead the charge both domestically and in Europe.
