Ogenyi Onazi: Nigeria midfielder opens goal account in Bahrain

Nigeria international Ogenyi Onazi has opened his goal account for East Riffa in their 4-2 win at Bahrain SC in the Bahraini second division encounter on Friday.
The 2013 African Cup of Nations winner joined the Bahrain Premier League during the January transfer window from Serie D side, Casertana FC, Italy.
After Sami Al-Husaini brace canceled Joel Vinicius and Hamza Sanhaji’s first half strikes, the former Lazio player converted a spot kick in the 83rd minute to make it 3-2 for his side before Yuri late effort wrapped up the win.
East Riffa are hovering around the relegation zone with nine points from 15 matches.
The 30-year-old midfielder will seek to find the back of the net when his side welcome Al Shabab fc on Wednesday.
Onazi had 52 caps with a goal for Nigeria and previously played in Italy for Lazio and Casertana, Denizlispor, Trabzonspor (both in Turkey), SonderjyskE (Denmark), FK Zalgiris (Lithuania), and Al-Adalah FC (Saudi Arabia).
