Ola Aina names Bukayo Saka Premier League best ahead of Mohamed Salah

By Monsurah Olatunji

Nigeria international, Ola Aina has stirred controversy after he labelled Bukayo Saka as the best player in the English Premier League (EPL) at the moment.
Aina, who faced Saka twice last season, reflected on the challenge of trying to stop the 23-year-old, citing the Arsenal winger’s consistency and game-changing performances.
While many fans might agree with Aina’s pick, some might argue in favour of Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, who has been in incredible form this season.
For the Super Eagles star, Saka’s ability to perform at such a high level every week is what elevates him above the rest.
The Nottingham Forest defender appeared on the Filthy Fellas podcast recently and was asked who, in his opinion, is the best player in the Premier League.
“He does it every game, every game [it is] Saka,’ he responded. “Mo Salah? Yeah, he’s up there, but bro…”
“Let’s be honest here, bro; Saka is scoring; he’s doing a mad thing.
“Rodri is sick, he makes City tick… but Saka just does it every game.
“That’s one player when I came off the pitch at the Emirates… I had to respect it,” he said.
Despite having several Super Eagles teammates in the Premier League currently, Aina went for Saka, who also has Nigerian roots, but represents England at the international level.
