Olisah Ndah: Nigeria and Orlando Pirates defender on Sassuolo radar

Orlando Pirates’ defender Olisah Ndah could be on his way to Italia football following bid submitted for his services by Serie A side, Sassuolo.

Multiple sources in South Africa claim an official bid has been submitted to Orlando Pirates from the Italian outfit for Ndah to make January move to Italy.

If the deal goes through in soonest, the towering Nigeria centreback could start a new year in European football.

Ndah has previously been linked with a move to an unnamed Swedish team, which is said to have been monitoring him from his days in Nigerian league.

The 24-year-old defender joined Orlando Pirates from Akwa United in 2021. He made his Super Eagles debut in 2019 and was a member of the squad to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Though the deal has not been confirmed by the Pirates, but its to be believed to sail through as the offer looked promising.

Sassuolo are currently in 15th position in the Italian topflight and are winless in their last four league fixtures.

Sassuolo are to resume Serie A action at home to Sampdoria on January 4, 2023.
