Onyekuru opens goal account, Ighalo fires blank as Al Wehda shares spoil with Al Feiha

The trio of Nigerian strikers, Odion Ighalo, Anthony Nwaekeme and Henry Onyekuru featured for the entire game during a 1-1 draw in the Saudi Pro League clash between Al Wehda and Al Feiha.

While Ighalo was on the card for the hosts, Al Wehda, the duo of Nwakaeme and Onyekuru ran the front line for the visitors.

However, it was only Onyekuru that got his name on the scoresheet opening his Saudi Pro League goal account in the encourager.

The former Galatasary forward was at the end of Al Feiha’s attack to pounce home a rebound after Fashion Sankala had his effort parried by Al Wehda keeper.

Ighalo was denied any rooms to create much chances to give Al Wehda the equalizer. He put himself up and about and had a few good looks, but he failed to score.

However, Al Wehda would still have their chance to score the equalizer with about quarter of an hour to end the game, thanks to a brilliant striker from Jawad El Yamiq.

Both teams had to settle for the 1-1 draw which would see Al Wehda finished the match week on eighth with 13 points and Al Feiha are following with 11 points from same number of games.
