Osinachi Ohale scores in Pachuca’s thrashing of Juarez

Nigeria defender, Osinachi Ohale opened her goal account for the season during Pachuca’s 6-1 thrashing of Juarez in the Mexican Liga MX women’s Clausura encounter on Tuesday.

Four of the six goals scored by the host came in the first half at the Estadio Miguel Hidalgo, Pachuca de Soto.

Captain, Veronica Corral scored the first goal in the sixth minute before Nina Nicosia doubled the lead in the 24th minute.

Corral’s second goal extended the lead to three three minutes after the half-hour mark.

Mural Delgadillo rounded up the first-half goals in the 39th minute.

Corral completed her hat trick in the 58th minute before the Nigerian defender scored the last goal for Pachuca.

She headed home her side’s sixth goal in the 65th minute before Annia Mejia reduced the deficit for the travelers.

Ohale was replaced by Daniela Flores in the 69th minute while her compatriot, Chinwendu Ihezuo came off for Oke Ayooluwa in the 76th minute.

Pachuca maintained their leadership position on the log with 22 points after eight games, a point ahead of Club America.

They will next face Santos Laguna on February 15, 2025.
