Sporting Lagos Head Coach, Paul Offor, has issued a stern warning to players who fail to meet expectations, threatening them with exclusion from the team.

The team, known as the Noisy Lagosians, has shown remarkable improvement in the second half of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, boasting an unbeaten streak of four games. Their latest triumph was a convincing 4-1 victory over Remo Stars at Onikan Stadium.

Offor emphasized that the outstanding performance against Remo Stars has set a new standard for player selection within the team.

“The win against Remo Stars sends a clear message to those who didn’t feature in the game. If you aspire to reclaim your spot in the lineup, you must demonstrate a higher level of commitment and performance,” Offor emphasized on the club’s official website.

Sporting Lagos is gearing up to face Niger Tornadoes in their next fixture on Matchday 25, scheduled for Wednesday in Kaduna.
