President Federation Cup: Stanley Eguma targets fifth title for Enyimba

Enyimba FC’s Technical Adviser, Stanley Eguma, is determined to lead the club to a fifth President Federation Cup title after securing their spot in the Round of 16 with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over El-Kanemi Warriors on Wednesday.

The crucial goal came from Chris Nnaji, sending the Aba-based club into the next phase of the competition, where they will face Abakaliki FC next month.

Eguma, who has a strong history of success in cup competitions, having won the same title with Dolphins, is focused on guiding Enyimba through a special approach to ensure they reach the final and challenge for the trophy.

“We will keep pushing after this hard-fought win over El-Kanemi Warriors until we reach the final and, hopefully, win the trophy,” Eguma said following the victory.

Enyimba, who have won the President Federation Cup four times, last lifted the title in 2014 and are now eager to add a fifth crown to their collection.
