Nigeria duo Rachael Kolawole and Regina Omede were on target for their respective teams in the Moroccan women’s football league last weekend.
Kolawole converted the winning goal for RS Berkane in a 2-1 win at AMLFF.
The visitors went ahead in the ninth minute from Anissa Belkasmi’s goal.
AMLFF leveled the scoreline in the 62nd minute thanks to Ramata Gangue but the visitors responded seven minutes later.
It was Nigerian defender, Kolawole who scored the winner to help her team top the league table.
Kolawole played for Nasarawa Amazons in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership before moving to Morocco.
RS Berkane, with 25 points, the same points as Sporting Club Casablanca (SCC), tops the log after 10 league games.
Meanwhile, Kolawole compatriot, Omede opened scoring for FUS Rabat as they played out a 1-1 draw with HST.
Omede broke the deadlock in the 34th minute before Chirine Knaidil restored parity in the 84th minute.
She notably played for Adamawa Queens and Rivers Angels in the NWFL Premiership before moving abroad.
FUS Rabat occupies the fourth position behind RS Berkane, SCC, and AS FAR FC.
