Rinsola Babajide Assist Seals Roma Win as Shukurat Oladipo Shines in Defensive Masterclass

Nigeria winger Rinsola Babajide played a crucial role as AS Roma Women edged past AC Milan 1–0 in a tightly contested Serie A Femminile clash, delivering the assist for the decisive goal to secure all three points.

The narrow victory further solidified Roma’s position at the summit of the league standings, strengthening their grip at the top as they continue an impressive push for the Serie A title.

Babajide’s contribution proved decisive, as her creativity and vision in the final third unlocked the Milan defence, setting up the match-winning goal in a game where chances were at a premium. Her influence in attacking areas once again underlined her growing importance to the Roma setup.

At the other end of the pitch, fellow Super Falcons star Shukurat Oladipo delivered an outstanding defensive performance, anchoring the backline with authority and composure. The Nigerian defender read the game excellently, making key interceptions and maintaining solid positioning to frustrate Milan’s attackers throughout the encounter.

Oladipo’s calmness under pressure and ability to organize the defence were central to Roma keeping a clean sheet in a high-stakes fixture. Her consistent run of strong performances has seen her firmly establish herself as a regular starter, becoming an integral part of Roma’s defensive structure.

With Babajide providing the cutting edge in attack and Oladipo offering steel at the back, Roma’s Nigerian duo once again proved influential as the club took another significant step toward their title ambitions.
