Rofiat Imuran scores and bags assist on Stade de Reims full debut against Le Harve

Nigeria defender, Rofiat Imuran scored her first goal in French topflight division as Stade de Reims thrashed Le Havre 5-0 in the French D1 Arkema encounter on Saturday.
The former Rivers Angels full back had struggled for playing time since arriving in September but eventually get her first start of the season after four cameo appearances and made the best of it.
It wasn’t a straightforward win for Reims as both sides were not separated after 45 minutes of action.
Three minutes into the second half, Imuran set up Haiti forward, Melchie Dourmornay who broke the deadlock for the visitors.
The Haitian’s strike opened up the floodgate of goals for Reims as Dourmornay returned the favour when she assisted Imuran to double the lead in the 54th minute.
Kelly Gadea’s own goal gifted the visitors the third in the 70th minute before Dourmornay made it 4-0 seven minutes later.
Shana Chossenotte completed the rout for the visitors in the additional minutes
Imuran saw 84 minutes of action before she was replaced by Chossenotte after opening her goal account and providing an assist for her team.
Her compatriot, Demehin Tosin was an unused substitute for Reims and the win took Reims to the sixth position on the log with 29 points after 20 games.
After a win at Stade Ocean, Le Havre, Reims returns to the Stade Louis Bleriot N°2,Betheny to face Dijon on May 21.
