Sabo Okala acknowledges Nasarawa Amazons’ superiority in Confluence Queens loss

By Wale Mustapha

Confluence Queens Technical Adviser Sabo Okala has admitted that his side were outclassed by Nasarawa Amazons in their 5-0 defeat on Matchday 11 of the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) on Wednesday.

The Lokoja-based team struggled throughout the match, and Okala cited a lack of concentration and poor communication as key factors in the heavy loss.

“The opponents are a better side. We lacked concentration and communication, which led to most of the goals,” Okala said. “Nasarawa Amazons are a fantastic team, and with more cohesion, I see them going far.”

Confluence Queens are currently at the bottom of the NWFL Group A table, with just four points from 11 matches.
