Real Sociedad forward, Umar Sadiq, has revealed that he is pleased with Victor Osimhen getting more playing time than him in the Super Eagles roster.

Sadiq was called upon when Osimhen had injury and the 26-year-old striker scored his first and only goal against Guinea Bissau to give Eguavoen’s men all nine points, sealing a Round of 16 spot at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
The former UD Almera striker is yet to play since September due to a long-term injury he picked up against Getafe insists he does not have a problem with Osimhen leading the Super Eagles attack.
“You know, firstly, it’s always a pleasure playing for you to represent your country and with Victor [Osimhen], I would say I do not see it as a competition,” Sadiq told Liga Podcast show.
