Nigeria winger Samuel Chukwueze bagged two assists to help AC Milan to a 3-2 win over Manchester City at their pre-season tour of the United States of America (USA) on Saturday.

The English Premier League (EPL) champions went ahead with a early goal when Oscar Bobb set up his compatriot Erling Halaand who converted inside the box in the 19th minute.

The lead lasted for 11 minutes before a beautiful display from Chukwueze resulted in the leveler for his Italian Serie A outfit.

The Nigerian star provided a cross from the right wing which Lorenzo Colombo coolly put into the back of the net.

The same combination led to the second goal for the Italian side in 34th minute as another cross from the same wing by Chukwueze located Colombo who scored his second goal of the match.

Ten minutes into the second half, City responded with the equaliser as Micah Hamilton assisted JamescAtee.

The action didn’t stop there as Milan scored the winner in the 78th minute when Alexis Saelemackers’s cross reached Marco Nasti who scored his side’s third goal.

Both sides are using the game to prepare for the 2024/2025 season with City playing in the English Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, and UEFA Champions League.

AC Milan have the Serie A, Copa Italia, and the UEFA Champions League to battle with.
