Nigerian goalkeeper, Sebastian Osigwe has signed a new three-year contract with his Swiss club, FC Lugano.
The 28-year-old joined Lugano from another Swiss club, SC Kriens in August 2020 and has established himself as the club’s reliable backup when called upon.
The Nigeria international has played just two games this season, logging 180 minutes from a possible 1890 in all competitions as he played second fiddle to Switzerland U21 international Amir Saipi in the last two seasons.
“We are happy to have renewed Sebastian Osigwe’s contract,” sporting director Carlos Da Silva told the club’s official website.
