Segun Olalere: Former Sporting Lagos star fulfilled with Remo Stars’ move
By Wale Mustapha
There’s a relief that comes with achieving your aims in life and the accompanied confidence is always extraordinary.
Such was the case of Segun Olalere who has just completed a dream move to Remo Stars ahead of new Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL season from Sporing Lagos.
Olalere who has impressed the technical officials of Remo Stars during his trials is looking forward to live his dream and make history with the Sky Blues Stars.
“It feels so good to be here because this is a club I’ve been eyeing for a while now,” Olalere told NigeriaFootball.ng.
“I’m very excited that the move finally came through and I feel I’m in the right place that will help my career move ahead.
“I’m fully prepared, ready for the new season and looking forward to win laurels and make history with Remo Stars,” he said.
Olalere helped Sporting Lagos retained life in second tier league last season as he featured in most of their games last campaign. He has previously played for notable Nigerian clubs including Osun United and Warri Wolves.
Olalere becomes the latest to join the Sky Blue Stars after the Ikenne club had earlier captured the signatures of  goalkeeper, Charles Tambe and winger Godwin Odibo from Shooting Stars and Ikorodu City respectively.

Remo Stars finished in third position in the NPFL last season as Daniel Ogunmodede’s side were knocked out of the CAF Confederation Cup in the preliminary round by AS FAR Rabat of Morocco.
